Mitsuko Uchida is an incomparable interpreter of the music of Beethoven, Mozart and Schubert. 6 years after her last album with Decca Classics, the pianist presents Beethoven's Diabelli Variations on her latest album. The Diabelli Variations, completed in 1823, are Ludwig van Beethoven's last major piano work and not only mark the pinnacle of his creations of variations, but are also among the most important and complex contributions to this art form.

Recorded at Snape Maltings, one of the world's great concert halls with which Mitsuko feels a close affinity.
