Ludovico Einaudi’s music has become some of the most recognisable in the world through its use in films and advertisements, making him the world’s most ubiquitous contemporary composer.
Decca is proud to reissue one of his most-loved albums: Eden Roc.
Einaudi writes Eden Roc is the name of a place in the south coast of France where Francis Scott Fitzgerald lived and set his novel Tender Is The Night. Einaudi states that he sees this as an ideal place where you can find your inner balance in the world.
This was Einaudi’s 3rd album after Stanze and Le Onde. For this project, he collaborated with an array of guest musicians including the with the Armenian duduk musician Djivan Gasparijan.
