This Hybrid SACD presents a selection of the greatest scenes from Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen conducted by Sir Georg Solti.

A decade since the last remastering, a completely new set of high-definition 24 bit/192kHz transfers of the original master tapes have been utilized. This 2022 remastering has been carried out by Philip Siney, long-standing Decca balance engineer & overseen by Dominic Fyfe, Decca Classics Label Director. Significant strides forward have been possible thanks to these new transfers at this resolution and a more sophisticated set of remastering tools.

Includes a 24pp booklet including original session photographs.
